It is 2 ounces and features a non-stretch, stable foundation and is soft to the touch. It is ideal for terry cloth towels and robes where you do not want the stabilizer to scratch the skin. It also can be used on any weight of woven with excellent results. Despite its deceptive softness, this product will support even full-front designs on fleece as well as lighter knits with light to moderate stitch count designs. Because it's made of top-quality materials using the wet-laid nondirectional process, only one layer is needed. This product is easy to use. Once you've cut the appropriate size, it is hooped to the wrong side of the garment and sewn. Then securely rip off the excess edges.
