Fiskars 197930-1004 Ergo Control Rotary Cutter, 45mm

I was looking for a basic rotary cutter to have as a back up that my daughter can use when we are working on projects together. For a cost effective basic rotary cutter, I am very pleased. Mine came in White and Grey with Orange for the lock and wheel nut. The handle is nice and large so it reduces hand fatigue. Once you squeeze the handle to descend the blade wheel there is a lock to secure the blade in place so that you don't have to put constant pressure on the handle. There is also a little bit of rubber padding where your thumb goes for cutting. You can move the blade to the other side for Left Handed cutting, but you might find you bump the lock if you aren't paying attention if you switch the blade side for left handed cutting.

since fingers becoming more arthritic I tried different brands of fabric cutters, the Fiskars are the most comfortable in my hand and theycut neatly.

Very comfortable to hold. These things are very sharp. The release/hold button is somewhat harder to press than another name brand I own. Nevertheless the less I like the product.

This is my favorite rotary cutter, it is easy on my hand and wrist and as long as the blade is sharp it cuts great.

You can never go wrong when purchasing a product manufactured by Fiskars. I absolutely love the part of the retractable blades.Did I mention sharp. These easily lets you cut through multiple layers of fabric saving yourself a huge amount of time.

Bought after I sliced my finger with a different rotary cutter.Think this is the safest on market, at a great price

This works on so many different materials and it's sharp and efficient. Better than a pair of scissors. Should have had this long ago...a crafters essential - for novice to experienced users alike!
