Plastic Ono Band

A little out there but one of Yoko's best. I like it almost as much as John's Plastic Ono Band record.

Garbage
This album should only be used to torture your enemies or for starting a fire.

it's almost as beautiful as John's album
It's dark, mystical, mesmerizing in a confounding way, it's almost as beautiful as John's album, and it belongs next to it. Give it a try, with a couple of listening’s before your verdict. Also need to mention that it sounds amazing ...

A worthy companion to John's "Plastic Ono Band"
I found this album (Yoko's not John's) in a used record bin for $2.99, and bought it only out of curiosity. Turned out that, despite the wailing and yelling, the album is very well produced and enjoyable. Definitely, not one to dance,to or to play your air guitar to, but an interesting artistic piece ( imagine: ME calling Yoko an "artist"!) that would fit nicely in your Beatles/ solo albums collection. If your first exposure to Yoko's music is "Two Virgins" or "Life With The Lions", I can certainly understand your apprehension and reluctance to buy this. However, if you play it with an open mind, you'll appreciate the music being played by John, Klaus, Ringo and other studio musicians. This is NOT "Cambridge 1969" at all. Lastly, if still in doubt, seek it in You Tube and you'll end liking it. A worthy companion to John's "Plastic Ono Band".

Not For Everyone
This album is one of my favorites, that being said it is not an "easy" album. I think most will dislike Yoko's earlier work, it's more performance art/primal scream therapy than traditional music, but for those who like strange music or hardcore punk its definitely work checking out. The jazz elements are very cool as is the backing band at it's most punk. Definite Jam music. Yoko is a true artist in her own right.

YOKO RUINED IT
Yeah didn't realize Yoko did her own version of this classic and totally ruined it.

I made the mistake of getting Yoko Ono's version instead ...
I made the mistake of getting Yoko Ono's version instead of John Lennon's. Personally, Yoko's screaming was a little too much.

Screaming and Wailing YOKO - oh no
Good Quality Product - Packaging and vinyl all good - Yoko musically not even so-so. Unless your a fan and need to add this album to your collection then OK buy but musically Yoko's screaming and wailing is far from desirable.

Yoko version, not John!!
I bought this thinking it was the John version. It was the Yoko one, to say its not very good would be an understatement 😂
