Q: Are these easy to use sticking down in a jalapeño jar to pick up the peppers easily?

These tongs are thin and would easily pick up Jalapeños or any condiment... I got a-set of 5 I use them everyday!!

Q: How shap and deep are the points, could I grind them down easy?

They are not strong or sharp. I used them for cheese slices and small pieces of fruit on trays for guests.

Q: Uh, why does it need my driver's license number to purchase? That seems very odd.

I did not have to provide a driver's license and I would not provide one. It would appear you or they have been hacked.
