Purchased these as a gift for our neighbor who likes to use colored lights on his home for different holiday effects and events...they are great! He can change the color from inside the house, no more changing the entire light bulb. Working great and lots of color choices. Very pleased with this purchase! (He is using them in an enclosed outdoor lamp post.)

This is a great light bulb for decoration and festive days.... I gave this a 4 star because the different colors are not so bright but bright enough for able to see stuff not bright as the normal (white) color. The app is easy to use because it asks you to select ur color and if you want to dim it down which was my favorite feature for simple reasons, because he app includes features like sleep time and more. The music was pretty cool because it goes different colors (rainbow). The light bulb doesn't get hot externally. YES IT REQUIRES A PHONE UNFORTUNEALLY I CAN"T MAKE IT WORK ON MY COMPUTER :/. I WISH I COULD AFFORD TWO SO I CAN PUT IT IN EACH SIDE OF MY TABLE! I consider buying this for many more purposes. This was exactly what I needed for my gaming setup, it helped me out a lot at night because I get up at night and hit my head or my leg on my door, I keep my phone near me so I can dim the lights and be able to see when going to the bathroom I started a chain to help me which helps me a lot now. The product arrived pretty fast for an amazon shipment data.

The reason I purchased this is for the rotating color of light. I have a beautiful glass lampshade I put this into. The light is the only thing that seems to work.It's made well, an E26 socket, bluetooth 4.0 - I couldnt get that to work because i didnt have a 4 digit password for it. The instructions said use 0000 or 1234. Neither of which worked. That was the only mention of a passcode.in the extensive instruction manual. I downloaded their app called TintLink by the QR code on instruction manual. Then followed all instructions. - well, after numerous installs and uninstalles of their app TintLink on 2 devices, ( a samsung S4 and an LG ). I recvd crashes left and right-on both devices. Like 5 times the app crashed trying to get into another section of TintLink. Which is in the google play store. At least I can power it on and off with the application. If anyone could please help me I'd appreciate it. Meanwhile I'll read some other reviews and the listing to find a passcode so I can use the Bluetooth. And I'll update this review as well.

It's cool. The first app I downloaded didn't work with the alarm setting. The light would never turn on. I tried a different app and the alarm setting works but not at the correct time. I set my light to come on at 6:00 and it didn't turn on till 6:08. Other than that it's really cool. The app I am using does not keep the custom info I put in it for some reason.It takes a few seconds for the light to come on after you hit the switch. I always think "oh no, the bulb burnt out" then it finally comes on.

It’s an extremely bright light, bought for my visually impaired cousin & he loves it. He put it in the overhead light in his bedroom & controls it from the app on his iPhone. The bulb came in a Small box & the instructions were almost thrown away because they’re folded up on a small piece of paper in the bottom. Description on amazon also has instructions about the app to use with the product, but still need a code from the instructions.

The app the instructions ay to use is not available to the US market for iPhone, so its just a bright LED bulb, with no other functionality

SHYU 12W Bluetooth Smart Led came nicely packed without any damage. This Bluetooth smart led is about the size of anormal incandescent bulb, so it can be installed in all normal locations and it is simple to install and to use, simplescrew the bulb, power it on and download an app called TintLink from app store (Scan QR code on the manual to downloadAPP). Using this app we can turn on and off the bulb, control the brightness and color of the bulb.It has got a color wheel, by which we can easily select the color we wish. This smart LED bulb supports timing alarm and sleep assistant, by this we can set a lighting on definite time to sleep and set powering off in the as specified time period.

No app available for the light. It is useless and cannot be controlled. When you scan the code it says "not available in US store, but available in Chinese store. When you go to the Chinese app store, you get the message "not available in Chinese store". Sent back for a refund.After sending these back, the company contacted me and said they had provided a new app, and sent me two bulbs to try for free. The app functioned perfectly, and the bulbs were very colorful, though not as bright as I would have expected from a 9W LED bulb. Overall, I would buy these lights with the new app.
