Beowulf (Thrift Editions)

This may have been a great story once, but as it's told here, it's very short, and yet long winded.If you have to study it, you probably need the original, untranslated story. This has a sort of style, but it's probably from the translator as much as the translated. It has a lot about who the characters were, and how honourable, and how great the new christian god is, which fills a page or two, but overall there are less than 60 pages of text here.

Aumentando mi colección, es un libro delgado, con letras un poco pequeñas, pero muy practico para llevarlo en un viaje, y practicar mi inglés.

beowulf stuffs good but I do not known if is the work in all but it still good to read

Great book, as an addition in studying old English epics.

R. K. Gordonによる現代訳版を探していたが、Dover Thrift Editonで購入できた。R. K. Gordon訳はKindleではまだサポートされてなかったので、本書を入手できてよかった。
