Great gift idea!
Works great when there is no wind to turn my chimes. Gave these as gifts.

Does not work properly
It works but it spins very fast and there is no way to slow it down. I tried to put my wind chimes on it and it spins so fast that the wind tubes fly out to the sides away from the center striker instead of clanging against the center striker like they are supposed to. There is no way for wind chimes to work and chime when they are flying out to the sides. Useless to me since it is too fast for my windchime.

Speed not adjustable
The unit worked well and arrived in good condition but was unsuitable for my purpose. It was purchased to display an oversized Christmas ornament. I wanted a slow rotation but the unit had no way of adjusting the speed. It was just too fast for my use.

Works great. Hung one of those heavy wind chimes and it turns it easily.

Great for revolving motor for yard ornaments
This is not an item you look for every day, but when you need it, this one works very well. My parents have a series of wind chimes on their back porch and a revolving entertainment piece that had this nearly identical rotating motor. They liked the ornamental portion, but missed the rotating effect. This filled the bill. It works very nicely.

Works well for Christmas tree
Had to replace old plug in one and tried a few others from Amazon and they didn’t work. Got this and one battery lasted all season. It’s larger than I wanted but will just hide it inside tree more.

Not what I expected
Moves very slowly and wears out the battery quickly.

I bought 3 of these last year. It was only used in the summer of last year. This year one is not working anymore. I changed the battery and no luck. I tried the batteries in the ones working and the batteries are ok. You would think the price I paid for these that they would last longer than a few months. What will you do about this? Will you replace it?
