I have used the plastic ones successfully, but making more flower paste flowers now, and bought these based on the reviews. Great! Wouldn't go back to the plastic ones. These balance well in the hand, have a good weight to them, and by putting them in the fridge before using, keeps the paste from becoming too warm and sticking to the tool. Good sizes and good value.

these are brilliant not too heavy although they do have a bit of weight to them which i like will be purchsing again as i may need some for my work box for college as well as some for home use
