Double Camping Hammock - Portable Parachute Hammock for Backpacking, Travel, Beach, Backyard

This is my first experience with this style of hammock. The last hammock I had years ago was the white rope net hammock which was common for most houses to have. Typically they were bolted to trees or hammock stands and stayed out doors which I remember leading to the rope material rotting in the elements mainly because it was too difficult for most to bother bring them Indoors. I probably wouldn't recommend leaving this hammock outdoors either (for extended periods), but that being said it takes no time at all to put up or take down. I like the idea of not doing damage to my trees. You may wonder if the tree straps will hold, and I can verify they do. The trees in my photo are two different species of maple with smooth bark and I had no issues with slippage. The material is very light and somewhat silky, it all fits into the built in bag. The color I chose was the Camel & Black which I think looks great. My wife loves the hammock and the price was great so no complaints here.

Bought this as a gift for my son. It is super cool.This is our first hammock ever, and so far I am impressed. Normally I feel like I am going to fall or flip out of hammocks or that they don't feel strong enough, so I've always avoided them. This winter I decided it would be nice to have one to relax in.I hanging up the hammock was a breeze. It feels like it is hanging securely, and the hammock itself seems very well made and strong. There is enough room so that you could even have two people in it if you wanted. I also liked using the excess fabric to create a cocoon around myself to keep the sun out. This comes in a compact little bag, and once I opened it up I feared that I would never get it to fit back in...I was wrong! It is super easy to roll/fold up the hammock and fit it back into the bag, which is actually attached to the side of the hammock so you never have to worry about misplacing it. It is nice to be able to pack it up and take it with you while camping.
