This egg chair is the best!!! Everyone who sits in it melts and never wants to get out of it! We mounted it indoors to a steel beam and bought a 360° spinning egg chair bracket for it (found on Amazon for $20) so it can go in a full circle. We didn't want to use the chain so we used some hardcore wiring we normally use for sailing. It's absolutely wonderful on all fronts! It's been tested out with a 225lb man and no issues whatsoever - except he never wants to share it with anyone else!If you're wondering how high to set it measure the seat height of your couch and do it to that height. I ended up buying a 12" foot stool to make it even more perfect for lounging.Buy this chair. You will not regret it. Assembly was easy and it's best to assemble it where you want it bc it won't fit in your car or wagon and it might not even fit through some doorways.Enjoy!

Everything needed is supplied, even extra. However, it comes in four separate pieces which have to be attached with 15 nuts, 15 bolts, 30 washers, and 60 plastic assembly covers, assumably to prevent the nuts and bolts and washers from rusting. You get them all in place, then tighten them all, then cover them all on both ends. Four of the bolts, which look exactly like the other 11, are not, apparently. Although they require the same washers, nuts, and covers, they are designated for specific places. Further, it is recommended to keep the swing indoors in bad weather, to cover it when not in use. It was a real pain to assemble. If I had realized that it wasn’t a single piece, I would not have bought it.My hands are not huge, but appropriately sized for a 67-inch-tall woman. It was often difficult to get and hold everything in place during assembly.Two days later: On the other hand, now that all the assembly is completed (it took a lot!) and it’s hanging on my covered deck from a heavy-duty chain previously installed, and I’ve ordered extra pillows, I’m quite satisfied. So I’m cautiously raising my initial three-star rating to four stars.Five days after review above, I’m back to three stars. I’ve been fussing and “fixing” this for a week now. The problem is the shape, which negatively effects body position. Once you’re in it, the seat is so low in the back that knees are raised in the front and body us pitched back; if you’re a kid and sit cross legged, it would probably work as a chair but not as a swing because to swing, feet have to reach the floor. The seat padding looks thick enough to help, but it totally collapses when sat upon. There’s no back support at all. So far I’ve added seven pillows in various places. Not good enough. So it’s back to the drawing boards for the designer and for anyone who actually wants to sit in this or swing.

It was an easy assembly. It comes with a short black chain. Vi bought a swivel attachment screwed into above 2x4’s, and a longer heavy duty chain. Also purchased on Amazon.

This is not only gorgeous but so comfortable! Highly recommend it!

These chairs are the best thing I’ve ever purchased! They are so comfortable and relaxing. I bought the mounting hardware at Lowe’s, allowing them to spin 360°. They are not actually wicker, they’re a metal frame with plastic strapping that looks like wicker. They are very strong. My 200 lb “kids” swing and spin in them. Highly recommend. (Assembly is a pain?)
