Westinghouse66609 2BULB PB Ceiling Fixture Lighting, Two Polished Brass

Nice Fixture
I had grown tired of replacing fluorescent tubes and ballasts in my large garage/shop. With 19 fixtures and a total of 74 tubes, something is always in need of replacement--and with 12 foot ceilings a tall ladder is needed. With long life low-wattage LED bulbs now available it seemed like a conventional fixture might be a suitable replacement for the troublesome fluorescents. I bought this Westinghouse fixture as a test to see if it could provide adequate lighting replacing my most difficult to reach ceiling light (whos ballast had died). I tried to match the total lumen output of a 4-tube T8 fluorescent fixture, which required two 150 watt equivalent LED bulbs. These bulbs are a bit oversized, and they barely fit in the Westinghouse fixture. They turned out to be far too bright, with blinding hot spots. I replaced them with 100 watt equivalent LED bulbs, which turned out to be a good match in total brightness to the 4-tube fluorescent fixture. I would recommend this fixture--a good value for the price at Amazon.

It works
Looks exactly like the fixture I had in before, that is before it freakin' exploded. This one works well and isn't hideous, it also hasn't exploded. Five stars.

Great light
Our old ceiling fixture died and with the current trend away from brass in fixtures, it was difficult to find a new one in a 1990s style to match the other lights in the house. This one matches perfectly! And the cost was no more than we paid for our original lights. Very pleased!

Does the job...
but looks like it cost what you paid for it!This is just a basic lite. It looks like a lite that you buy at Walmart, and I think they are cheaper at Walmart!
