Sharks Tattoos (Dover Little Activity Books: Sea Life)

My 7 year old wants to be a Marine Biologist and study sharks. He loves when he gets tattoos from birthday parties. I have to say this was a great buy, especially for the $2 I paid for it. There are 8 larger shark tattoos. I will be a great stocking stuffer from Santa (this may be the last year we get a Santa believer, I have to make it magical).

Grandkids had fun putting on temporary tatoos

We have not tried to apply these tattoo's to either of the 4 yr olds yet but they look nice in the book which is printed on a good quality card stock. They are vividly colored and nicely detailed, as is the cover. And, one whole page is devoted to instructions on application. There are also line drawings of of each tattoo you can use to decide/try out where you might want to place it before you apply the actual tattoo. It is a good value for the money, wished I'd bought a few more.

These were a little smaller than i anticipated. That said, they were a great quality with a lot of detail. They were a huge hit at our shark themed birthday party with adults. They lasted for a few days and came off easily with some baby oil. They were also extremely easy to apply. A bunch of drunk adults didn't have any problem.

The kids loved these tattoos! Great old style look! Some rubbed off really quickly - but I wonder if that is specific to the child? My son's gradually "faded" for 2 weeks. He loved it. I just wish there were more in a book. the pinkish/purple sharks were a hot with the girls at the party!

When I received this product, I thought to myself, this is very small, it contains 8 tattoos of sharks for, what, $1.50. Ok, it was cheap, so, no worries. But, then on Christmas morning when I gave it to my daughter, she said, "thanks, but, it's really small." I felt vindicated. I think that this package is really neat, marketed for shark-lovers specifically. It might be a neat product as a completing project for a section on sharks, home schoolers, shark loving children. It's easy to wash off. They claim that it's safe but I can't comment either way on that. I give everything a grade, and this product I give a solid "B". If it were made with finely designed sharks or larger sharks or more sharks or it contained a couple of pages of information about various types of sharks, then I would have given it a solid "A".

These tattoos are much bigger than I thought they would be. There'sso quite a fee of them. They were super easy to apply. In fact, my 6 and 8 year olds were able to apply them on their own. They were the perfect addition to our shark week celebrations & worth every penny! I would absolutely buy them again!

This has been a lot of fun! I know toy tattoos on 5 year olds look awful, but my boy has loved these and has been stylish with them as he loves sharks. A great fun item and leave the hang ups behind for a day!

I love these tattoos. I'm a massive Jaws fan. I got them for a joke gift for someone, but they're so cool I've decided to keep hold of them! I've yet to apply one so I can't comment on the quality of the tattoo's (saving them for a special occasion). For the price it's worth it for a giggle.
