I agree with many said here, it is truly a beautiful set. Classy but not old fashion. The color combinations are very ease to the eyes. I don't have a problem with the size of the cups, they are good for me. I also love they are stainless Steel, it is definitely the new trend.I didn't give 5 stars because 1) the packaging was so bad, yes totally beat up, everything was all over the places and out of their original plastic wrap. It's like someone had just used them and shuffled them back in for shipping. I was buying this set for a gift, but with that condition, I cannot give it out to anyone. 2) The thermos doesn't keep the hot water hot for long, 1-2 hours the most, I was very disappointed because that was an important reason I selected this set.I am keeping the set instead of returning them simply because of the style. If anyone interested in this but would like the thermos works as it's supposed to be, this is not the one for you.

My use was simply for tea times. Not really invested in how long it held heat. It is everything I could want to entertain for a small Christmas dinner. Very classy but not too formal. You can't go wrong.

Good finish on the cups and on the carafe. Only negative would be the plates and spoons are a little thin.

Nice..Lid does not close properly. .1 of my cups the handle was brokenupon arrival.

looks fine but does not hold temperature for long time, in few hours coffee or tea is lukewarm.
