as i have said on other moon bay reviews, I had some metal halogen spotlights for my outdoor lighting,after 2 years, the wires were rotting and the light housings let water in.I was looking for replacements but didn't want to break the bank.These Moon Bay lights did the trick and more!They are so low voltage, i was able to connect several more lights to my transformerThey were easy as a snap (pun intended) to connect to my converter and existing lines (not included... you'll need to have an outdoor power converter and wire to run these)PROS:Bright warm lights, not the glaring "white" but a hint of warm glowSingle body design, nothing to separate in the elementslong connecting wires and heavy duty connectorsthe price!CONS:Plastic moldingOverall, these are a great value for the moneyand a wonderful solution to permanent outdoor light solutions.I hope this review was helpful, please let me know by clicking belowAny questions, please ask!

These are definitely not my favorite spotlights on the market due to the cheaper plastic housing, but they do function well and the cost is low, so if you are willing to give up a nicer metal and glass housing that is more durable and attractive, these are a decent option due to the cost savings. However, in my experience the landscape lighting fixtures that come in more heavy duty metal and glass tend to last a lot longer than plastic lights, so we'll have to see how long these last.

I was unfortunately unable to use these Moon Bay outdoor spotlights as I do not have the proper power cable. I do want to point out that the description states that these lights are a light aluminum material. The entire light is actually a thin plastic and would break easily if mishandled or stepped on. The plug-in cord is also very short and only provides a couple inches of length. Otherwise, I cannot properly state if I recommend or not.

These light connect and work exactly like you'd expect. I feel like the quality is a little lower than I'd like, for example you can see that the plastic on them looks cheaper, but it does feel stable. I will say these are a 4 star buy, quality is a little meh, but the price is good and the lights work well...Just my thoughts,AK

It does the job in a pinch. They've lasted a few months so far which is about as good as I can expect for any landscape lighting; I may be unlucky, but I find that when I get the regular Malibu lights that I'm lucky if they last me more than 6 months. So far, so good with these lights - they also weathered a monsoon storm without issue.

Just what I was looking for.

Great for pathways, or for us, fencing! Fantastic way to change things up and add a great look!
