Great book! Colorful, and sure to catch a child's attention.A favorite, this tale is one that many Hispanic countries claim as their own, including Puerto Rico, the Dominican Republic, Cuba, and others. Arrived well ahead of time.

The tale is a classic and my 7 year old son loved it.

I love this book. My aunt used to read it to me years ago when i was living in my beautiful island Puerto Rico.

A mi hija de 5 años le encanta este libro. El cuento en rima sí, puede asustar a un niño pequeño en la parte en que el ratón cae a la olla. Pero después lo sacan de la olla y todo sale bien.

What would a an Elementary Spanish Class be without La Cucarachita Martina? I am glad to have found my own copy (as well as the Pura Belpré versions) for my collection after studying it in a Children's Literature course.
