The title sums it up best. The SOG Multi-Tools are (IMO) the best value on the market today. There are other tools that offer similar features but are often more expensive or do not provide the ease of use and durability that is offered by SOG.The only complaint so far is the packing grease on the unit is very thick, after cleaning and 2mths of minimal use the folding mechanism is still slow to open. I expect after more use and proper cleaning the quick flip open will be smoother and faster.The attachment lock is nice and helps to keep the extended attachments from trying to close again during use. I purchased this to attach to a bag/belt for outdoor use but find myself taking it for Every Day Carry since it is so useful to have.

excellent multitool. comfortable, easy to operate one handed kinda like a butterfly knife. all the tools are useful, especially the pliers with their compound leverage. the knife and the saw are sharp! be warned!modern Gerbers are rubbish quality and Leathermans are overpriced. the SOG is just a quality item. in the unlikely event one of the tools breaks, you can go on their website and buy another piece, they're all just bolted in. you can customise it to how you like it too.Get one, it'll be the only multitool you'll ever need!oh, one more thing, people have said about the black coating coming off on your hands, it's just the oil they cover it in!.

The tips of the pliers are pointy enough to be used as needle nose pliers, the cutting and crimping abilities are the best I've tried amongst all the pliers and I used many.

I try to keep my EDC situation as minimal as possible, but as effective as I can. The PowerLock EOD 100% fits the bill for me. Then you get to the sleek, but durable look of it, and you've got an ideal multi-tool that's well worth the buck.I live by this thing, and feel naked if I'm ever without it.
