Commitments Paperback – August 1, 2017

I've been reading Barbara Delinsky for what seems like forever. Her novels are so heartwarming they make me feel like I'm sharing a conversation with my best friend. This novel had plenty of romance. It encompassed unique everyday problems and plenty of them. There was intrigue and suspense. I definitely recommend this book.

I loved this book from beginning to the end. It was refreshing to read a book that was not full of explicit sex scenes - the scenes behind prison walls were enlightening and truly showed what life there can be like. Sabrina's love for Nicky was touching and heartbreaking. A great story with a happy ending.

Loved this book. Have read it 3 times now and each time it is like the first...intriguing, captivating. Holds your interest and keeps you reading till the wonderful end!!

Listened to this as an abridged audio. The narrator--as always--Joyce Bean did a superb job! She always makes books better!An enjoyable listen/story. Would have like a little more of the hero/heroine emotional and physical backstory to explain their choices and attraction.

I WAS ON VACATION AND CAME UPON ONE OF MS. DELINSKY'S BOOKS :"SWEET SALT AIR". I WAS HOOKED. I AM ON THE FOURTH OF HER NOVELS. I EMAILED HER AND SHE RETURNED AN EMAIL WITH COMMENTS.

I enjoy reading this author, occasionally. She writes about relationships and how they begin and continue....Sometimes a bit to much dialog but for the most part her books hold your interest.

Another winner for Delinsky. Full of characters and events you ache for, some you despise, some you love, but all woven into a great story.

This is a beautiful story of a woman's commitment to her child and then to the man with whom she falls in love. The author draws you in so you feel you know these people as friends you'd like to join at the comfortable home they create together.

This is my third copy of this book. It is heartbreaking at times but I love this book. The characters are very real and relateable. Don't want to give any spoilers away but every time I read this story I have a hard time putting it down. The suspense keeps you on the edge of your seat and you wonder if the bad guys are ever going to get caught.

This was not one of my favourite Barbara Delinsky books. I felt the plot was somewhat contrived and a little trite.
