Very impressed
Used this to dye a wedding dress and it came out so cool. I wanted Grey so I was fine with the 2 packs of black, but if you want darker, you need to get more. But the color was even and not splotchy and it dyed even the beads and little details beautifully.

Great for anything other than plastic and polyester
I tried to dye orange and kelly green polyester to black using the stovetop method. Even after the maximum amout of boiling and then some the orange turned a dark brown and the green turned a very dark green. It did turn the soft rubbery parts that were green a wonderful black though. So polyester may not turn the color you want but rubber will. Plastic not so much. I tried orange plastic and it turned brown.

I like this product. I dye disc for disc golfers and this works great.

Worked but messy
I tried all purpose, synthetic, and this dye. This one was the only one I could get to work on poly satin but yeah, it is messy. It somehow stained my metal spoon and stainless steel pot beyond fixing. It works but be careful.

DO NOT BUY!!!
Absolutely do NOT buy this product!!!I bought it to dye a dress for my sister for my wedding and even though I followed the instructions exactly the dye absolutely RUINED her dress!I’ve used this brand of dye many times before and had no problem so I don’t think it’s the brand… I think this particular one was tampered with or something because the dye had some kind of sticky residue in it that got stuck to everything: The stove, the pot, the stirring spoon, the dress, EVERYTHING!I was absolutely heartbroken that her dress was ruined so we’re out $100 and had to buy another dress hoping it would come in in time for my wedding. Thankfully it did but I am still heartbroken because we all loved the dress she was supposed to wear but this dye completely ruined it.DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!

Not as desired.
Followed all instructions, even purchased a huge Dutch oven to allow fabric room to move freely at the high temperature and it merely tinted it, definitely not a good dye job. I tried going from cream to black but ended up light bluish grey.

Does NOT dye polyester
Had a 100% polyester dress that I need to dye black for a wedding. Color washed right out. Don't advertise a product for certain use if it doesn't do what it claims.
