Great toy for 5 year old niece with sensory issues
I bought this over a year and a half ago, but wanted to come back a write a review. This is great for my 5 year old niece that is autistic and has sensory issues. This is a favorite toy of hers every time she comes over to our house. We have many toys, but she plays with this one more than any other toy. The foam is very sturdy and she finds multiple ways to challenge herself every time with this toy. She just totally loves this toy. My other niece that is 4 does not really prefer this toy, but she has play with it. I totally recommend this. They have both been playing with this toy from 3-4 years old.

Fun learning toy
I bought this for my 1 1/2 granddaughter, she loved stacking the pegs in the hole but it was a little bit hard for her, the foam shapes are difficult for her to use, in which she got frustrated, so we put the toy away and will bring out again in a few months. Over all I think its a great learning toy for an older child, I like that all pieces fit in the clear plastic backpack.

A great toy to let kids learn while having fun!
I got this as a birthday gift for my 2 year old and although she has dificulty putting the plastic pieces in the foam shapes, she loves it. My 5 year old has a great time with it and is able to easily put the pieces in.The cube come very well pacaked in a thick plastic bag with back pack straps. (My 2 year old loves wearing it as a back pack!) There is a faint oder to the foam pieces but it disipates very quickly. Shapes need to be punched out of the foam pieces to create the sorting cube, but they come out with little effort. The foam puzzle pieces are made from a soft but thick and durable foam. It will not rip easily, but it can get 'scratched' by plastic pieces. (See picture with blue side up) Pegs are made of a hard plastic that won't easily break but could hurt if you step on them! (speaking from experience... Think legos!)The shape cut outs and the peg holes are very tight fits for the shapes which can make it hard for little hands to use. You have to line pegs up exactly and push hard to get shapes through the holes.Overall a great toy my kids love to play with. We won't tell them they are learning as they do it!

My son loves this puzzle!
My son loves this toy! He brings it out everyday to play. He enjoys the different shapes and calling out the names as he adds them to the peg puzzle piece. He likes the different things you can do such as building a cube and taking out all the shapes, do that he can go back and add them again. He also likes stacking the different shapes as high as he can. The pieces are very durable and sturdy! I recommend this as a gift or as a way for your child to learn different shapes.

Amazing Fun and Educational
My granddaughter is only 2.5 yrs old, but she took to it so fast, and played with it for almost an hour! I was so happy about that because sometimes all little one's want to do it play with the box the toy came in. lol. The colors are vibrant, there were some die-cut shapes that you could remove and there were pegs that you could put through the same shapes that then would fall into the cube to shake and make a small noise with. The pegged shapes could match with the yellow side of the cube. You could also just lay it flat on the table too.The only thing I would say that is slightly negative is the foam seems a little like it might not last very long. My granddaughter was pushing the pegs through with a lot of pressure, which made the foam buckle a bit. I loved that it came in its own carry-all backpack, however, the straps aren't very adjustable. We will see how long it lasts. If I have more information, I will give more input later.

Great STEM toy to grow with your child!
My 16 month old son has occupational therapy 2x a week, and we've been working on his fine motor skills with the pegs that she usually brings with her. He's so receptive to them I just had to get some of my own!I love how this product can grow with your child, and still be fun in so many different ways at different ages. Bang for your buck!I just really wish one side of the board was a different texture, to make it a little sturdier and more durable. When I put the boards together to make a box, it's still pretty flimsy, where my son picks up the whole box trying to get one peg out. I know it's partly to do with his age... But it would still make a better product either way if it were a bit heavier!
