Build quality is, excellent and works perfectly as a feed to my outside but undercover 5v LED light strip. By using this with USB C to A type adaptors at each end I was able to drill a smaller hole through my house wall. Working well to light up my open porch when dusk falls.

I needed a USB-C extension cable to extend a USB hub for my Desktop Workstation, so I could have easy access for things like USB pen drives, SD cards, External hard drives etc.- but my USB hub has an 8-inch/20cm cable permanently attached, so I needed a USB-C extension.This extension does the job very well and no issues whatsoever.· Build quality is excellent with no flaws to be found in fit or function.· Works great - I didn't notice any speed issues.· The product has a beautiful appearance, good quality and easy to use.👉 The cable came in a nice box, which you don’t need to keep – but it also had a business card size notice in the box that caught my eye:It mentioned that the USB 2.0 connectors requires specific orientation – So, when you are using USB 2.0 devices (mouse, keyboard etc.) - it matters which way your USB-C cable is plugged in.I did some tests, and can confirm that USB 2.0 devices require a specific connector orientation. I have USB 3.0 and 2.0 pen drives, and if the extension cable is plugged in one way, both types work, but reverse the connector, and only the USB 3.0 drives work.✔ Pros:+ Fast charging / Excellent data transfer speed+ Durable / Sturdy - feels like I could use it as climbing rope+ Braided✖ Cons:- No complaints( I will update this post if any quality issues arise )Overall, this cable is doing exactly what it's supposed to do, and more specifically what I need it to do.Highly recommended!

Using this to connect a USB-C hub to a macbook pro M1 so the hub isn't pulling on the macbook port. I'm using the hub to provide HDMI video (1080p) to a monitor, plus USB from the monitor's USB hub, and powering the macbook. Works fine, but as others have mentioned, it does only work with USB 2 devices like my monitor's hub one way around. There is a card in the box that mentions this. I've marked one side of the female connector and the male side of the USB-C hub with permanent marker which solves the problem. Quality is good, solid connectors, connect with a reliable sounding click. Braided cable seems to be nice quality. The cable does bend well but seems to have some rigidity to it so when you bend it, it stays in that position. Fine for my setup, I quite like that feature in fact, but might be a challenge if there's not much room to plug it in. Dropped one star due to the need to be oriented the right way for usb2.

Despite reading other things online and the description of this item not recommending use for portable displays, I decided to try it anyway. I have a low consumption portable display and it works flawlessly without any dropout. The factory USB C cable from the display simply plugs into this extension and you get a 7~ metre range.

I tried about 5-8 other USB C extension cable before buying this one from Belkertech and it was the only USB C extension cable that work -All other cables wouldn't transfer data any near correct speed or wouldn't transfer data at all and would cause Windows to crash which made them dangerous to use.Belkertech USB C extension cable didn't give me any issues and transfer at correct speed, comes with Lifetime Warranty and is amazing quality for price I think.Only has one negative for me - cable should be reversible (transfer speed which ever way connected) but doesn't work for me so have to connect cable on correct side to get full transfer speed (this is marked with label on cable explaining this), this isn't a problem for me as I have just marked correct side and compare to trouble I had with other cables bought is nothing.I was about to give up and just connect my other device (StarTech USB-C Hub) that need a extension cable to the back of my PC which would of made transferring data a load of hassle and awkward place to get to -Thank you Belkertech for making a cable that works and with lifetime guarantee I shouldn't have to worry about buying anymore awful cable that don't work in the future.

Bought this to be able to move my USB-C hub away from my Macbook, just for a cleaner desk.Looks & feels good quality wise, but unfortunately it just can't handle many of the hub inputs at the same time. E.g. HDMI will work to use my external monitor, but then the USB and Ethernet ports stop working. Power pass through worked, but with barely anything else being usable it just doesn't do the job I intended, and I had to remove it.Strangely whenever I plugged ethernet in, not only didn't work - but took down my entire LAN at home too. Not quite sure why or how, but worth noting as it happened every time I tried.Will keep it as a general usbc extension, but just be cautious if you're purchasing for the same use-case as me.
