It would be great for other problems
I was hoping for something that I could wear at night to keep my arthritic finger from bending but it cannot. It would be great for other problems, esp. in Mexico when I broke my fingers and they did not have anything like this!!

This was the only brace that worked for my pinky mallet finger.
My pinky was too small for all the braces that the Orthopedic doctor had for a mallet finger. Even a custom brace wouldn't hold my first knuckle straight while letting my second knuckle bend. I found this online and it was the only thing that worked.

Use a popsicle stick instead
The velcro rubs your skin, it didn't fit well, and it wasn't sturdy enough. Loosened up all day. The plastic spoon handle I was using before was better.
