Draw-Tite 75648 Max-Frame Receiver, 2" , Black

Installed on a 2014 Dodge Journey SXT. I like the product. Heavier than it looks, which is probably a good thing. Once installed, very sturdy. Almost too sturdy. What do I mean by that? Other reviews that I had seen for other brands stated that they had their hitch installed by the end user in less than 2 hours. Uh, no. From all tools and supplies needed on the concrete ready to go and car secured, this task took me twice that. I'm not a mechanic but it isn't exactly rocket science either. I lowered the spare tire and its' housing, secured the dual exhaust and lowered by removing the rubber boots holding the exhaust up. This part only took 15-20 minutes. The instructions are not quite the best, reviewed a few youtube videos to make sure. I get that this exact item is made for just a few vehicles but the holes to bolt it all down was SO snug, it required two adults and plenty of strength to "bend" it proper. Honestly, there are other "moving" companies that charge $100 to install their own product, I can say I won't do this install myself again. One last thing, was thrilled that my product did not come in some sort of box. Was just wrapped with a little packing film and a crap-ton of tape. Is that normal?

Hitch came without hardware to install. This is so unacceptable...I'm aware is used but seller should disclaim the missing hardware on product description along risk is scratches and dents.

As a trailer hitch it is good, had a vehicle that couldnt tow, but now does tow so good for that lol 3 stars though cause it arrived all scratched up and draw-tite stickers/decals mangled. Shouldn't be an issue for most but I'm the kind of dude that likes my stuff looking good & new and keep it looking good & new. And ide say doesn't look so good & new on my ride but what ever is what it is I guess

I thought I could install it by myself, but after examining a little I realized it would be a little bit hard, so I went to my mechanic, lifted the car, he had to release the end of exhaust to install the right side of the hitch.After installing I hear a strange noise from back, which nobody can Identify :) :) :)

Good, sturdy product. Harder to install than I thought. Needed a second pair of hands to do it.

Ordered hitch arrived very fast my mechanic installed it and everything fit perfectly.
