Healing Power of the Christian Mind, The Paperback – January 1, 1996

I've studied the scriptures for over 40 years, and for the last 10 I've seen over and over that how we think absolutely determines our lives including health. This book was a wonderful discovery to see the same conclusions from a scientific advantage. I highly recommend this to anyone who cares enough to live in our fast zone with total peace and joy. I'd also recommend listening to the teachings of Graham Cooke.

Book was "right-on" and provides good help for anyone who has physical health problems and inner turmoil or unforgiveness. Practical ways to overcome stress and items which could be affecting the immune system negatively.

I thought this book was wonderful until, I could not believe it, a case study, where a man renounced his homosexuality, was brought up and ruined entire premise of book

Backus begins with a great example of what happens when people center their thoughts on godly and biblical matters when confronted by illness, even as debilitating and deadly as AIDS. He goes on to draw wide conclusions and provide helpful patterns of behavior. It's a very good book for encouraging a positive response to illness and suffering.
