WHY put plastic around a glass stopper? No decent decanter includes plastic components.
WHY put plastic around a glass stopper? If I could have seen this from the pictures (I used my phone, shame on me) I would have gotten a different decanter. Stoppers are supposed to be tapered glass-on-glass, NOT include plastic that will break over time and leave you with a decanter you cannot use anymore.Would no repeat, would not recommend to anyone. In the throes of buyer's remorse.

Bad stopper.
Cheap stopper with thick hard plastic rings. Makes it hard to open the bottle if the stopper is put in all the way. Sashed and spilled whiskey first time I opened it. There are better options out there.

Great buy— touch of elegance!
I’ve always wanted one of these sets. My father had a nice set when I was younger. This was a great buy and looks fantastic on our cart. I’ve only had it out a day and have received compliments already :)

Looks classic, classy and expensive
It was a gift but I see it all the time. It's a great looking set. Sometimes I wish I had one for myself.
