Love this chalk. It's so much easier to use than the thick ones which never stay sharp. They seem fragile but I've used it a few times, and even dropped one once, with no breakage at all. this is a great way to mark quilts for machine quilting.

I have a tendency to be a little heavy-handed when using pens and pencils, so I have to be careful with these as they are quite thin. They feel a little fragile when I use them, but so far, no issues.I like that they are a good quality - they provide a nice line and erase easily enough if you make a mistake. I also like that they provide a few of each color so you've got a nice variety to have different colors based on whatever you are working with. Overall, I'm very happy with this set.

I like that they come in a plastic box. They work fine, just very breakable. Possibly the thinpieces are what professional sewers like.

Easy to use, easy to see markings. Breakage has not been a problem, just store them properly; they are fragile.

Well, the chalk breaks easy. This is my first time using chalk. I have to remember not to apply so much pressure, as if I were using a pencil. I have no other chalk brand to compare with. If you need chalk, try two different brands.

Came in fairly decent condition, a little corner was broken off of a yellow but I was expecting worse. The colors are very vibrant and marks fabric well! It comes off easily, maybe a bit too easily at times… Definitely not meant for long lasting projects. I’ve had one of the pink break into three when using it but I was probably gripping too tightly. It did leave a chalky residue on my sewing machine when I went over the marked lines but it’s easy to clean. It’s chalk, nothing extraordinary.

That being said, they will break if you are not gentle with them. They are somewhat difficult to remove in that they don't slide right in and out. They have mild friction against each other, which if you're in a hurry, not very patient, or clumsy, you can break the thin chalk. Other than that, its easy to use, marks boldly and well, and easy to take off the fabric. Would recommend to anyone stitching.

Well packaged.. no breakage/ no waste. Useful color choices. Shows well. Easy to use. Washes out completely. (Tested linen in tepid water mild detergent.)

These are great for my sewing needs and washes out easily. However don’t drop them as they are thin and break easily! My work station gets crowded and sometimes the chalk falls to the floor so now I am making sure to place the chalk in a secure location after use lol
