Yes, a Kenko soft tennis ball does have a limited lifespan. The ball must be properly inflated so that when it is freely dropped from 150 cm high the first bounce should be 75 cm +/- 5 cm. How long is the lifespan? I don't have any good answer but I can share our experience with you. We have a group of seniors who play doubles using two balls for about two hours in a session. The balls usually last for 6-8 sessions. The rubber balls are subject to wear and tear. The harder you hit in rallying, serving, or overhead the shorter the lifespan will be.
