Garpsen T8 Grow Light
I recently bought my first Garpsen T8 Grow Light. I already have 5 other Garpsen grow lights which I used with great success through the 2021/22 winter, so I had no hesitation in buying another Garpsen product. The T8 came with 2 power leads so that any combination of the 4 lights could be used as a single or 2 separate units. It was quickly and easily set up.The level of light is very high – just like a bright sunny day. I use all grow lights for vegetable production in a shed without natural daylight. I am as impressed with the T8 as I was with the others. Alan McDonald, Orkney.

as expected
I will trust other reviewers that these use 17 watts instead of 24 which is fine by me, they certainly are bright enough and the angled lights give a wider illumination area so I am happy, these will do well for some phalaenopsis orchids. They work as expected and are extremely bright - sunglasses needed. I was pleasantly surprised. The people claiming these have low ppf and low par were clearly just using a phone app which measures human visible light whereas these are plant lights and give off plant spectrum light so these are pretty bright in fact. You want the measurements on the phone app to be low because these are designed for plants. With a top of the range light meter I am sure they would be more than adequate for some Orchids considering how blinding they are. Maybe Tomatoes would need 2 bars instead of one (as expected) but for the price I am extremely happy with the quality, the 3 different light spectrums, the light color and all the accessories. Some of these reviews seriously put me off but know that they were written by people with a phone in their hand, not by a grower with a par meter. Big difference. Really glad I bought these. Can highly recommend for orchids. My best orchid light to date and I have bought quite a few over the years. Comes with a 12 month warranty too. The only downside is no reflector like you get on a barrina but I think the light spectrum is better than on the barrina. I am glad I bought them over the barrina. Time will tell how the plants respond. The light is not pure white, not pink, but somewhere in between with a warm glow. I detest the pink lights, I like this one, hope that helps others decide.update: These lights are working great. It's only been a couple of months but my phalaenopsis are responding with more root growth, several have started flowering including one I just could not get to flower previously so these lights beat my expectations. Can highly recommend for orchids.

Great for my Ikea Milsbo cabinet, although cables between light could do with being little longer.
Received as described and been working great since. Very bright. Great for my Ikea Milsbo Greenhouse cabinet, although cables between each light could do with being a little bit longer. If connecting to line up one light next to another then they would be fine, but to enable putting a light on each shelf then they could do with being longer.

These lights should be 10 stars not 5
With the really bad growing season we have had in the UK, Nothing has been growing correct cause of the crazy weather we have been having this year.I've been lucky enough to have avoided blight with most of my tomatoes plants, the issue is they are still green and we are at the end of the growing season even in my poly tunnel.Since i manged to avoid blight and having a few Roma tom plants still surviving but still very much green I looked to the web for help which offered 2 Ideas which seemed to be the best options, i can either make some green tomatoes sauces " tried that last year Yukkk" ok so thats a no, I could pick them all and put the in a box and hope over the next few weeks they start to ripen, " apparently if you stick a banana skin in there it will help Or i could move my plants in to my shed and put them under lights to see if i can get them to ripen, As i like to experiment i went for the last 2 options. After a lot of searching and reading reviews i decided on the above lights being a set of four lights that you daisy chain was the best option and bang for buck. Its been a few weeks now and i can report that the tomatoes in the box are still green, i had one or two rot which thankfully i got to before it could spread. The ones ive had under these lights are responding brilliantly, It must be a combination of the warmer temps in my shed and the extra bright lights but im starting to see my Roma's ripening and are looking very very healthy. once my toms are done im going to be moving a few of the house plants in there for a holiday as these lights are helping immensely they are super duper bright and are perfect for placing where ever you need extra light on the plant, Your able to daisy chain the lights so if you buy more sets it does not mean you need more sockets even better ive had the lights on a energy monitor and they dont seem to be using tons of electric like i thought thy would be which means i can have the lights on for longer with out burning a hole in my pocket.Overall I wish I had found these lights earlier in my growing journey, I only started gardening in lockdown but i can already see how much help these lights are going to be to me, ive already realised i will be able to extend the growing season not by days or weeks but by months, i will be able to get my seeds started earlier and also keep growing for longer if I have any stubborn plants that wont ripen.Looking forward to 2022 growing season

Quality product
After much research I came across these led full spectrum lights. I read that you need full spectrum lights, not the cheaper others that throw out the wrong light and appear light-weak. There are 4 in the pack, could connect together, but I have them in pairs. One pair beneath the greenhouse bench to light up the geraniums that see less light. The other pair hang from the greenhouse roof to a foot above other plants. I plan to connect both pairs to a smart plug. You get 2 proper UK fused plugged leads, which are a good length. The separate lights used 15 watts each, I think, which is excellent in managing electricity usage. Weather any of these lights make a difference to plant growth is to be seen. Too early to say now.
