Light weight but you will need long sleeve rash guard and pants underneath.
Fitment is great. Design is awesome. Fabric on pants is ripstop, very abrasive. Fabric on sleeves is ultra-crispy. High price for product made in china. Found better alternatives that are more comfortable. Should cost $70 max to complete with similar products.

Lightweight and comfortable
This Gi makes number four for me (all different brands) and I think I may have found a brand that I would stick to. This Gi seems to combine features I like from my other Gi. Its very lightweight (good for southern California) fits well, seems sturdy, and has little details like the built in rash guard that show that the manufacturer spent some time thinking about their product.Plus they seem to be a smaller local company and I like to support that when I can

Amazing quality
I am a black belt in San Diego, I teach Jiu jitsu 5 days a week and I only wear gold gi’s. I have the lightweight version and the 550 gsm which are both awesome, but this is the best of both worlds. 450 gsm: which has enough heft to be your most comfortable gi while still allowing for good training in the heat. There are brands out there that sell generic gi’s and spend big money on marketing (shoyoroll and hyperfly) and then there are brands that are committed to making the gi’s that competitors and addicted hobbyists actually buy. I love the latest addition to the gold lineup. Keep the new styles coming 🤙

Best gi I own
Straight out of the box, I knew I would like this gi. It felt great, fit great, and looked great. I’m honestly frustrated in general with gis that have flashy and obnoxious branding. A big selling point for me was the relatively minimalistic and sleek branding on the Gold BJJ products. I’m not trying to show up at class and be the center of attention, I’m trying to show up with a comfy gi that looks nice and holds up. This seems like it will fit the bill. It’s absolutely my most comfortable gi, and I look forward to wearing it as much as I can and testing its limits.

Good gi but runs big
The material and cut are good, but I've only ever worn A3s and this is far larger than any other A3 I've had (photo shows a Fuji A3 on top for comparison). I thought I'd be able to shrink it, but it just returns to it's normal size after rolling in it. Definitely don't have to worry about throwing it in the drier, which would be a good thing if they didn't run so big.

Luxury features, perfect fit
This is my second Gi and i’m happy to say i want be researching anymore brands to try in the future. My Gold Gi fits perfectly and has proven very durable. Extra features like the stretchy pants tie and rash guard liners on the shoulders feel luxurious for the price. I’m 5’8 166 & lean, bought the A1H—dried pants the first time on a higher heat to get a bit of shrinkage, jacket was exactly the right size

Very lightweight. Very durable. Fits great and is comfortable.
My gym has terrible air conditioning and it gets very hot in there so this gi was miles better than my hot and heavy fuji gi. The sizing was perfect with some room for shrinkage and it's just very comfortable. Definitely would recommend for someone who wants a great balance between lightweight and heavy. I'm 6'1, 170lbs and A2L fits great.

Fantastic Gi
The fit is fantastic. Right out of the bag this Gi fits and feels great. It is lighter than you would expect for its GSM. Rolling I thought it would be stiffer and hotter than my Flow or my Kitsune, but it was not. It actually breathed better than both of them. Nice clean design. Great gi, well worth the money.
