Now Designs Narrow Stripe Cotton Chef's Kitchen Apron, Royal Blue Stripe 28 x 32 in

Apron was purchased for my Mother who has Parkinson's so she needs a wide, full apron to protect her clothes when sitting to eat and long enough to fully cover her lap to the knees while seated, so it is not being used as a cooking apron. She is not a large woman so I do not know how it will fit people with a larger frame, nor are the pockets and wrap around strings of much concern to our primary use, so on these points I cannot comment.I have purchased several different versions of apron's over the past few years and found that aprons such as this, with the adjustable neck strap, work best for our needs as some aprons that lack an adjustable neckband leave too large a gap at the collar, so do not protected this area from drips and spills. This version is made of stiff, heavy-weight cotton that softens through repeated washings. I have noticed that these apron's do experience price fluctuations depending on color. I placed the "cactus" shade in my Wishlist several months earlier and then happened to notice a substantial price drop some time later. This was only temporary however, so be sure to check the various colors and compare the prices.

This was a replacement for the same apron that I purchased on Amazon in 2011. Obviously, it is durable. I bought the bright red and royal blue. I love them. They have improved the adjustable neck strap since 2011. Previously, if you shortened the strap, it left this loose piece of strap hanging on the apron. The new design works so much better. They washed up great.

I like these aprons. This is the third I have purchased. I think the weight of cotton the manufacturer is using is getting lighter but that is not a big concern. I am usually happy with this product. However this apron arrived with the buckle sewn upsidedown on the neck strap. Luckily my wife owns a sewing machine and will be able to fix this defect.

I am very happy with this apron! I only wish it was a bit wider across the chest area as I have a somewhat larger than average chest area to protect. You can't win them all though (lol) so I digress. This apron fit all my other criteria of things I'd been looking for: long ties (although they aren't long enough to wrap around and tie in the front, which would have been an added bonus), front pocket, adjustable neck strap, and made of good quality heavy duty fabric. I haven't washed it yet, but all the seams look sturdy and like it shouldn't fall apart anytime soon. On the whole, a great deal for my cooking pleasure!

Just what I was looking for! It's just the right size and the fabric is nice and sturdy. It replaces another Now Designs Apron that was in a light color and showed stains all over it. I am very happy with this one. I have another that is slightly lighter in weight that I wear for cooking, but this one is perfect for doing dishes and I am sure it will not show stains like the one it replaced. Very happy with this item and the quality from the manufacturer.

I bought this apron. I wanted just a light weight cotton apron but couldn't find what I was looking for on Amazon, so compromised and bought this. So this is not really the apron's fault but there is this. I have pets. Maine Coon cats specifically. So I used this a couple of times and then threw it into the laundry--when it came out it had attracted every stray cat hair in the whole load, also despite taking my lint brush to it didn't want to give up any of it! It was amazing really. Clearly I can't use it as an apron. I am however thinking about including it in every laundry load to collect the dander, which would be worth the price if you think about it. So warning to the pet owner. For people without pets or who are really fastidious about grooming their pets, or who have hairless pets I think this might be a great apron, in fact I'm sure it would be--for the rest of us, nice but...

The yellow apron is a nice lemon peel yellow and the fabric is a nice weight - not super heavy, but a good thickness. I am returning it however because the top of the apron is no where near wide enough to protect my shirt while cooking. The top of this apron is 9 inches wide. I am a physically fit lady and do not have a large chest. I'm 5'4" and the apron hangs a couple of inches below my knees.

For a $20 apron, this is totally not worth the money. It shrunk down to nothing when I washed it one time (in accordance with the label on cool with a cool dryer). I don't even know if I'll be able to wear this again, and I got it a week ago. Definitely not worth the money

Wonderful quality. Vibrant colour. Very workmanlike. The only criticism I have is that the apron strings are a wee bit low down otherwise I would have rated it as 5 star.

Very good quality. Strong and rugged . Definately would recommend these aprons!

Good sizing. Generous length of the apron strings. Easily wrapped around my husband. Nice neck attachment with buckle for adjustment. I was a bit disappointed with the thickness of the fabric. I thought it would be sturdier.
