I got these for a couple leatherworking projects I have, and overall they seem really good. They feel very sturdy, and seem to actually have a good bit of force holding the faces of them together with just the magnet in one side. Based on what I've seen so far, I suspect they'll last longer than normal snaps, as I've had a few of those over the years wear out and not hold very securely, barring some kind of unexpected damage to these magnetic ones anyways. They are also very slim compared to many options I've tried in the past, so they won't bulk up a smaller piece like a concho might for example, and if you design it right, you can make the back side of them invisible, leaving only the locking faces to see. I feel these are great little snaps, that I'd be happy to use on most of my projects, other than maybe wallets but that's just my personal preference, I'd rather keep magnets away from my cards as much as possible. Maybe it would be fine, but I don't know. Other than that, I would say there's lots of other purposes for these though.tl;dr-Pros:-good quality-they offer a strong closure-easy to install-quite slim for what they are, reducing bulkCons:-would be afraid of demagnetizing cards or having it interfere somehow with their ability to function. (maybe not really possible, I do not know, but for that reason, I don't use it on wallets)Overall, I highly recommend this product, and I feel it's a great option for lots of leather projects, and likely could work for other non-leather things too.

I was very impressed. The magnets are far stronger than I thought. That should translate to a decent holding strength. The snaps set quick and easy. I wish more snaps came in the package but still a far better deal than buying a package of 1 or 2 locally.

Buttons are nice and very strong, but the tool has difficulty to cut through thicker material.

The media could not be loaded. Just like the title, and many of the other reviews, these are strong magnet buttons. It took me about 15 minutes, my hammer, and a piece of 2”x4” wood to install two buttons.

The media could not be loaded. These turned out to be perfect for my backpack project. They're very strong so I wouldn't suggest using them on thin fabric. I even reinforced the canvas as a precaution. Very pleased with the look, the tools included work well but I found the hole punch to be rather dull and just used my better made leather punch on the same size. Would definitely used these on another project.

Love the slimness of these magnetic clasps. They are easy to install, work every time and look great!

The magnets are very strong. If you use these to secure cloth or thin materials, the strength of the magnets may cause the material to tear. The "tool", singular (see photo) included does not match the 2 tools featured prominently in the product photos. While the singular single punch tool can be used, it does not have the utility of the double punch, qnd the leg bending tool, while not critical, would make setting the snaps easier.
