Q: Has anyone installed in a garage using some sort or glue or tape?

I didn’t use glue or tape. It is fairly heavy and the rubber does not slide on the cement of the garage floor.

Q: Can these be used on grass or ground instead of asphalt or concrete?

Yes but you will need to secure it with rebar since you will not be able to rely on the friction of the cement/asphalt to keep it from moving. I also would go with the full size.

Q: Can this be used outdoor in cold climates?

Yes this is solid rubber and can be used in any climate.

Q: I need to install guide rails to be able to safely get my minivan into my single car garage. (Kinda like car wash). Will 2 of these work?

Maybe - Here is the thought -they are may to loaded by your tires perpendicular (at a right angle) - the width of the device plus the tire load, holds the car in place. Now you are turning the device sideways - I think you could rather easily move them and defeat the purpose of the guideway. However, the good news is they have bolt hole provisions so you can drill them down into place, BUT then, why use these expensive rubber devices - I used a large 4 inch by 4 inch to stop my car from forward - why not use wood for guides? - save money and work better - a carpenter could do it
