Lorex is Unbeatable
These cameras are excellent. Totally plug and Play. Image quality in night mode and daytime is perfect. Audio recording could use a wind suppression of some type. Very happy with them, all 20 I have around my house.

have had these under my house eaves for a few years now. Fantastic picture, great night shots. I keep the cams up on my tablets using the Lorex app. if you use high quality on the tablets, it will suck up your wifi bandwidth.

Worst cameras ever made
Do not buy. Will die a day after 1 year and the company doesn’t give a ho ha at all. They will just try to sell you more. Also lenses start to deteriorate and the cameras pictures will begin to look terrible. Pictures showing how bad they have become. And no they aren’t dirty or need to be cleaned. It’s the glare that they create on their own.

Cannot get it to work without a NVR
I am testing up cameras for use with Zoneminder and so far this one is absolutely useless.I cannot connect to it via a web browser not Lorex' own Android app. The app will actually scan the code and still cannot connect to the camera.Lorex documentation is worthless unless you're connecting to a NVR. Their website's tech support section is equally worthless.All my attempts based on information I found on the web are not working.I am doing all this in order to compare video quality of various up cameras before making purchasing decosion. TP-Link camera was easy. Armcrest camera was also not too difficult.Lorex?? Forget about it....and our current system is an analog Lorex.

High quality images. Really good value.
Simple setup, true plug and play. Camera produces a high quality image and the Night LED illuminator provides good night time images.

Badly dissapointed
We bought these as recommended and were told by Lorex they would work. Turns out they were wrong. These are of poor quality , dont like direct sunlight, poor night vision and should not be used outdoors as they are not suited due to their cheap design. Bugs moved into the holes and gaps within a week. Should have listened and used the other manufacture. Tried to return but the time limit expired. Wast of our money.
