Love this book!
I’m not a professional designer, just interested in it. This book is great for the layperson or anybody interested in interior design. It’s black and white, but on purpose so you can color in the pictures yourself. There is a free online version so you can see the colors of the actual vignettes. The author is responsive to emails, too and seems like a great resource! Highly recommend!

No art degree needed! THIS BOOK TELLS YOU WHAT YOU NEED FOR DECORATING!!!
Of course one could go to college for drafting, design, and art. Of course one could learn all about building codes. However, if you want really great design tips without the years of education and college loan payments, READ THIS BOOK! It's is packed with info that you can use for your own home OR business!

Loved it!
This is such an amazing book. Very thorough and it covers every single aspect of interior design.It’s a great guide for people who want to know more about it.

Very useful
You see on both ways, with no color on book and full color on web. (On web by the pc you can’t open the photos, but by the phone yes.) you can see the link on my photo published.

Excellent narrative, "pictures" not so much
Excellent book for an aspiring interior designer. Narrative is engaging and informative. But the "pictures" are in black and white and the link to the books web page, promising "full color" is nonexistent. Should have read the reviews before I purchased.

Great book for any aspiring interior designers, either professionally or for themselves
This book is fun and makes interior design easy to learn! Janine pulls us into the book by telling us her story and her why and then encourages us to find our own why. Anyone who has an interest in interior design should read this book!
