Love it, has a bright light.. pleasingly surprised it to be as good of a light as it is.

I live out in the sticks, and it gets very dark down the driveway, before the flood lights get triggered. Yesterday was the first cold day that I needed a hat. It was very warm and comfortable, then used the lamp to illuminate my walk to the house. It not only was bright, the area that it covered was impressive

It had no instructions on how to charge. Just shows a picture on the back of the light popping out with a plug in. After messing with it, using a flathead to pry up, which bent the plastic, i tried pinching the corner edge on the hat itself. Then pulling it away from the square light. I could lift it up and out while doing that. So yeah, hat fabric itself pulling outward, do not try just prying it. The realtree looks great, brightness seems better than the last watch battery panther vision, optional settings is a big plus. At the amazon warehouse "used" price (arrived looking new in packaging), it is a solid buy. Will purchase more in the future.

Only thing I didn’t love was how difficult it is to get the light out of the hat to charge it. But it keeps it from falling out and getting lost so I guess it’s necessary. Other than that, this hat is great. Super bright and warm!

I bought this for my husband for Christmas. He loves it. The light is bright and charges fairly quickly. He said it is warm and comfy to wear.

I got one of these hats for my husband because he had mentioned that at work, they need specific colored hats for their uniform. He disliked wearing his work hat and then having to layer a headlamp on top that would always fall off, so I got him one of these to use. I gifted him the hat around December, and it still has plenty of battery life/not need to be recharged! I highly recommend either getting this for yourself or getting it as a gift for someone who is also annoyed by wearing headlamps with hats!

This is the nicest product of its type I’ve pitched. I had the older styles that used button batteries and AAAs, but the rechargeable feature is great.It can be difficult to remove the light pod at first, but it isn’t too bad once you figure it out. It’s very bright and lights up where I can see and not much else, very little light pollution.I just received mine and won’t be using it long enough to drain the battery for the most part, but hopefully it lasts a while. I plan on only using the low setting.The biggest downfall is the list price - $30. Way too much. I like the design of this light pod style beanie hat light, but I could never justify spending that much for a single hat. I do plan on picking more of these up while they’re on sale.

The light:Honestly I believe this is one of the best hat lights out there right now. Super light weight and slim with a wicked brightness for the size. About 2x2in square. This will no joke light up an entire room with a broad flood of light. And the three brightness setting is very nice for different light and time needs. And a battery run of 3-4 hours at max brightness isn’t bad either.The hat: the hat is why I give a 3 stars. I don’t think the hats are very well made. They added a lining that makes the hat sit funny and ride off my head. Due to this I actually cut the lining out so it’s more like my original panther vision hat that had no lining. The stitching at the top also leaves much to be desired as it makes the hat sit strangely and uncomfortably.I would give the light 5 stars and the hat 1. I would really love to see panther vision improve the quality of their hats because I do really like an integrated light better that a clip on.Until then I would recommend just buying the clip on lights they make and put that on your favorite hat. But if you buy this hat like I did cutting out the lining will improve the comfort and fit of this hat.
