I had a very specific size, color, and design in mind for this space by my front door (and to go with the IKEA bench). I searched at several stores and on numerous websites. This shelf was the definite winner. It came quickly, in good packaging, and arrived with no damage. The paint is well done and the hooks are sturdy. It comes ready to go on the wall. The only thing my husband (aka--my handyman) had to deal with is that the provided hanging holes on the back didn't line up with the studs in our wall--and it needs to be hung securely. But my stud was able to easily make it work without using those provided holes. I hesitated at the price but once we got the shelf up I felt like it was well worth it. It's a one time purchase for a high traffic area so it will "earn its keep" pretty quickly.

Love it
This was perfect for our entryway. To make it easier on putting it up, my husband and I taped the back with painters tape and then marked the holes on the tape. Took that tape and put it on the wall and drill the holes. Took us no time to have it up. It is sturdy. I love the shelf makes it stand out. The hooks are perfect for our big family.

Easy to assemble and install. Decorative and functional.

Had to repaint
The shelf looks as advertised. Unfortunately I had to touch up the paint in so many places because the wood had soaked up the one coat of paint it initially received. This caused it to look bare in some places. I needed it immediately or probably would have returned. It's hard to see in photos but really shows up in person.
