Minka makes quality, the look is beautiful. The only concern is a slight sound when on high but that could be from how it was installed by the electrician as well

I installed two ceiling fans this week: a $75 Honeywell Barcadero in the bedroom, and this fan in the living room. The Honeywell installation instructions were 100 times better than the Minka Aire. Stunningly bad instructions for a fan that cost over four times as much. Seriously, for the price the least they could do is hire a professional to write their installation guide.Also, fitting the transmitter for the remote into the hanging bracket is a serious PIA. Terrible design.The fan itself is beautiful and runs smooth and quiet. No wobbling despite a ceiling with a 2.5 degree slope.

I have 10 foot ceilings so I needed to have the fan installed. I had initially purchased a 54” slightly different type fan because my husband was thinking this 65” fan was a little too big and too modern so after having the 54” fan up a few days I realized it was too small so I reordered to the 65” fan and returned the smaller one.I am so very pleased with everything about this modern fan. I did notice after about a week of having the fan up and running - the fan does make a little bit of noise but not too bad; I can drown it out… we are loving the modern impressive bigger beautiful fan.This fan comes with a handheld remote and a wall remote, we use both. Very happy with both remotes. I also love that this fan is wood and not plastic… adding to the great quality it displays.
