Lotus
Not as easy to grow as described, takes time and patience. "veteran" plant parents will love it, new one's might struggle with this one. lol

didnt get a free refund on defective product
i did not get a free refund on my product and they're asking me to return the seeds even though they are defective. it almost seems as if they're gonna resell them

Good starts, but yet to produce flowers.
The lotus seeds were very easy to grow. Not all of them grew. I’d say there’s a 33% failure rate, which is totally fine. I’ve never grown these before and the little lily pads are growing just fine. You’ll definitely need to transfer it to something a bit taller than just a bowl. A wide bowl works or a candle jar.

Lotus
Great for the price and within a week it sprouts new growth! Just do beware that a white film substance may grow over it and if you see this make sure to wipe is off the sapling as it will die.

Tiny tiny little packaging!
I nearly threw them away because I didn’t think there was anything in the Amazon package. There were no planting directions either. No idea if they’ll grow to be a good purchase or not.

Mold on my seeds
After a couple days of trying to germinate my new seeds mold started growing on most of them. I tried separating the contaminated one but it seems none of them will sprout. If anyone could help? I’d really appreciate that

Portulaca Grandiflora: Germinated in Under a Week!
I started these seeds in a Jiffy seed starter kit and followed directions. A horticultural website site said to expect the seeds to germinate in 1 1/2 - 2 weeks. These came up in 6 days. Now it is on me to keep them growing. The seeds are tiny and the packet holds thousands of them. I dipped a Q-Tip into the packet, tapped off all but a few seeds, and tapped the ones that remained into the starter soil, and did that for each of the 50 cells in the starter tray. I'll have some thinning to do, but the upshot is: the seeds are definitely viable and there are lots of them.Update: I lost all the seedlings to mold by keeping the Jiffy seeding container covered too long. I've started over, and the new seeds have germinated in two days. Cover Off! Let's see if these mature!UPDATE AUGUST 16, 2023. The seedlings were slow to mature here in New Jersey. Two and a half months in, they're healthy but small. I guess I can move them to where I had planned to put them. But there are really only about six weeks left to the growing season. So not sure there's any point. I'll try again next year, much earlier, and maybe seek some advice from a pro...
