Broan-NuTone S97009800 Bathroom Fan Blower Assembly

This is the factory replacenent, easy to install, and restored my old bathroom exhaust fan to new condition. It fits the original housing, so just drop down the old motor and fan, and put in the replacement. Very quiet too.

You have to remember that these are replacements for an older model so they are not as quiet as newer models, but for me they are much quieter because the old motor bearings must have been going bad. I cleaned the old ones especially the fan bladed but that did not quiet them down. The new ones are perfect.

Both of my broan s130a bathroom fans stopped working last summer.After reading the product information for this unit they seemed to be what I needed.The installation for this fan unit turned out to be super easy. I was worried the electric cord connection wouldn't be correct, but that was not an issue.I do not regret spending the extra money for these fan replacements.

A little pricey, but super easy replacement to my existing Broan fan. It is not a quiet fan, but neither was the original and the original one developed a vibration. It was worth the price since it fixed the issue and was super easy to install as a replacement.

Just replaced my old Broan S130-A with this one. Exact fit. Very easy to replace. I am glad they still make this model.

The motor is loud and noisy. I’m worried it won’t last long and the price for this replacement is about three times the cost of original unit. They don’t make this size any more so replacing it with another model would require cutting a bigger opening in the ceiling. Can’t find anything about a warranty for this replacement. I hope the seller responds and advises me on whether the noise is normal, if I should exchange it for another and whether it has a decent warranty.

Item was exactly as described. Perfect fit into the existing ceiling box. Only had to connect to previously installed wiring. Operating smoothly.

Easy to install and a lot cheaper than my previous source for these fans! I will probably buy again since they tend to last about 5-10 years.
