The idea of The Care Company came about when a family member was diagnosed with a less common type of cancer. Through that, we learned that it is difficult for some to find an effective treatment because tumors grow at different rates and the response to treatments varies between cancer patients. We learned how much cancer can, not only physically and mentally affect the person who has it, but also their friends and family who continue to support them. We believe that, due to the lack of funding for awareness campaigns and research of these less common types of cancer, family and friends will have to continue the fight against cancer for those whom they supported. Though we'd like to focus on bringing awareness to the less common cancer types, we believe that they are equally important. The Care Company's mission is to provide comfort to those who are affected by cancer now and provide funding for awareness campaigns, research, and hope for the future. Our promise is to donate a Hopeband to a cancer patient and donate a significant amount of profit to cancer research for each Hopeband sold. Because treatment sometimes causes cancer patients to lose their hair and struggle to keep warm, your purchase of one of our Hopebands will directly affect a cancer patient.
