I love the elegant style,it holds a standard sized hand towel with an inch or 2 to spare from the counter.Not sure why others reported the towel dragging.It has a decent weight to it.Also,it doesn’t take up a lot of room on the counter,and doesn’t look intrusive ,or to large like some others.I facilitated between the black and polished nickel,concerned about tarnishing.I choose the black,but either one would look great.

It's not suitable for hand towels that are the standard size. The towel won't dry. It's for very small towels. But if you ignore that, it does look nice, especially the crystal at the top.
