The simple answer is quite a long time. A bit like asking how long is a piece of string? It will be measured in years. If you transfer your files to another device and then back again you will reset the clock and start the timer again. A visit to the manufacturers website may produce a better response in their FAQ's section. Hope this helps.

Is this formatted to FAT32?

Mine came formatted to exFAT rather than FAT32, but exFAT is compatible with most FAT32 use cases..
