Awesome Logic Puzzles for Kids: 60 Clever Brain Games and Puzzles

Some puzzle books only have one kind of puzzle or a small variety but this is a very good book. It's challenging and has good variety.

This books is fun to sit and play to keep the mind stimulated and off screens.

I always like logic puzzles and benefit tremendously from a father that would constantly entertain me on road trips with puzzles. But I also benefited from my father working from home and so logic puzzles became part of my daily routine, whether at meal time or when we ran errands together. The book is aimed at kids age 6 to 9 and i think the puzzles presented are appropriate for that age group. They consist of the main types: complete a pattern, add the next item to a sequence, analogies, matchstick moving puzzles, basic logic question and deduction riddles. Even as an adult, I still enjoy these puzzles and have to admit that I used this book before I handed it over to my grandchild. Never hurts to exercise your brain, at any age and even adults will find these riddles entertaining - maybe easy, but then the perfect thing to do while sitting in a waiting room. I recommend this book to parents who enjoy logic puzzles and want to get their kids started on this journey too.I received a free copy of the book from the publisher.

As a teacher, I am always open to ideas on how to better keep my students engaged while learning so when I got a review copy of this book, I was eager to jump right in. I love that when completing these logic puzzles, my students are engaged in solving the puzzles as well as having fun. Hearing the conversations around these puzzles has really given me insight to their learning. Another bonus? The "Riddle Me This" questions at the bottom of the pages. This book would be great for morning work, fast finishers or center work.

I was so excited to receive an advance copy of this book for my classroom. It includes several different types of puzzles to challenge student thinking. It includes patterns, sequencing, logic puzzles, analogies, and lots of additional material. A fun riddle is included at the bottom of each page as well. I love what I see! Since school has not yet started this year, I haven’t had the chance to use it with my students, but I feel that it would be a great resource to access throughout the year.

Awesome Logic Puzzles for Kids is an outstanding activity book that really gets kids thinking. Once they get started they won’t want to put it down. The colorful pages are inviting and the puzzles promote higher order thinking. Children will be challenged to start, but soon they will begin to recognize patterns and will feel very accomplished when they have solved these well balanced and varied puzzles. The riddles at the bottom are an added bonus. A great gift for any child and an even better addition to the classroom.
