It pumps!
Direct replacement to the bilge pump on my boat that went bad. Easy to wire up and works perfectly. The simplistic design means less things to break over time.

This thing can pump some water! Very quiet.
I've always had good luck with Rule bilge pumps, so when I wanted to install a new pump on an older used boat I bought it seemed like a no brainer to get a Rule pump. I opted for this model since it was the largest that would fit in the space I had to put it in. I figure that you will never regret getting too bit of a bilge pump if it comes down to you really needing it.Easy to install as other Rule pumps are and this pump is really quiet. I had to keep running back to the bilge and putting my ear on the deck when I was wiring up the switch to see if was working because I couldn't hear it. Now, if the bilge is full, you know it is working because this thing really pushed the water. I think the 1500 GHP must be a pretty conservative estimate.I've only had it for 4 months, so I can't speak on the durability of this particular model, but I've thought I always gotten my money's worth from this brand of pump.

Very dependable
First replacement of the original 19 year old aft bilge pump in my 29’ SeaVee inboard. My boat is kept in the water and fishes 3 to 5 days a week. The original 19 year old forward pump works less often and is still going strong. I have replaced numerous automatic float switches since I built this boat but only one rule bilge pump since owning it.

I have wasted alot of money on other brands but I won't ...
I'me a boat owner {commercial } with 3 boats that stay in the water year around 1 boat is 45 yrs. young and sweats a little, they range in length from 35 ft. to 56 ft.. I have been full time commercial since getting out of the service in 1969 I have used all kinds of pumps,I depend on them, don't be fooled by the cheap look alikes. I have used other brands but always come back to RULE.I have wasted alot of money on other brands but I won't be tempted again, I use the 1500,2000, and 3500. At least 2 pumps on each boat.

Tried & true
"You get what you pay for." Reliable, solid product is what you want from a bilge pump. This brand is the industry standard for good reason. I have three on my boat (primary, back-up and shower sump).Nothing but good service from these pumps. Easy to install, no further service required for many years. And oh yes, it's good to keep your boat from filling up with water!Like Amazon.com, you can shop around all you like, but won't get a better deal.(No affiliation to Amazon or Rule, just satisfied with both)

Rule is the standard
Other less known brands much more reasonably priced but if your boat takes on water would you want a bargain brand?
