Edit December 2023: Bumping this review up from 3 to 5 stars. The multiple account issue I originally noted below seems to have been addressed, and the thermostat mode maintains temperature much better than when I originally purchased the heater and thermostat. It no longer waits for a 4 degree drop to turn back on. Awesome updates from Govee.—Overall the heater is pretty great. I do love being able to turn it on and off from my phone. But it isn’t perfect. These are the things that I wish I knew / confused me when setting it up:The description wasn’t entirely clear. The “thermostat” this comes with is just low, medium, and high settings. Not a big deal to me, but it seems to be a problem for others.I purchased the H5051 thermometer so that I could pair it with the heater to monitor and maintain a specific temperature in the room. When the target temperature is reached, the heater shuts off, but it doesn’t turn back on until the temperature drops 4 degrees, which is not ideal for my use case. I only saw this in customer comments after trying to figure out what was going on.I don’t seem to be able to connect the heater to multiple devices. If my wife sets it up on her phone, it disappears from mine and vice versa. I haven’t reached out to support yet, so maybe there’s a way around this, but it’s quite annoying.There is an API for Govee devices (very cool) but this device and the H5051 are not yet supported.

Love this heater, works great with my alexa and able to control from my phone. Only down side is temperature is just 3 settings so not a ton of control, but puts out very good amount of heat comparative to other larger heaters i've used in the past. Would recommend to anybody looking to have smart control over a specific area.

We use this ceramic heater to supplement the electric fireplace heater in our fifth wheel when in hookups in a campground. (We have to use the propane furnace when boondocking). I already had the Govee application for temperature monitoring with their sensors and the 30 day data logging, this heater is controlled from within the same app. In my case, I am using an iPhone. It is great to be in bed and set the heat level, from 1-3, as well as a timer if you want. You can even set a schedule within the app. I can also of course remote turn it on without getting out of bed when it is in the 20's outside which means in the 40's or 50's if you are not use heat all night long in an RV. I only use the Bluetooth connection, but it works well from anywhere in our 35' long rig. I highly recommend it for both heat out, oscillation option, and fast/reliable remote control.

While I really like this product I think Govee has a bit of a misleading product description. Because it is calling this space heater wifi/temperature controlled. Which is simply not true. If you do not have the Govee Bluetooth hydrometer/Temperature monitor which is an essential piece in order to get the smart functionality out of this (and it an additional 35 but I received it will mine in a bundle) you will simply have a heater with no temperature control at all. But once you have the Bluetooth receiver you can set routines, temperature shut off, as well as a timer. One thing that I really love about this is that it is Bluetooth controlled which means if your wifi is not working you do not lose any of the smart functionality. I think that is awesome and other heaters should have these functions.

I have 4 of these units. Most are never really used and thus have yet to fail.However I have one that runs on a daily schedule in the winter. This one (i.e., the one that actually gets used) fails almost exactly at the same time of year (towards the end of winter).It starts with random beeps then fails to power on. Govee has replaced it 3 times without any drama which leads me to belive there is some sort of known defect with these units.Daily use roughly 4 hours max it only seems to last 4-5 months before failing.When it works it's great but it's becoming a hassle getting a replacement every 5 months.Don't believe me. Go to the reviews and sort by 1 star reviews. These are the people like myself that are giving you a long-term review. Had I gave a review after the first week or month I would say this is an awesome smart heater. But after being in MY THIRD HEATER SAME EXACT MODEL. I can unequivocally say it's trash. They need to figure out what the defect is, then they have a solid product. But being on my 3rd heater in less than 3 years it's clear they have no intention on correcting the issue. They are clearly making more money on not resolving the underlying issue. It's a poor decision because I started moving away from Philips Hue and towards equally good Govee lighting. So I assumed their heater would be equally good. Not so.

Bought this heater last year to warm an unheated basement area ahead of going down there to work. It has both Bluetooth and Wi-Fi capabilities. You can turn it on from your phone to warm an area ahead of time. You can set turn off timers so you don’t forget it on. If you leave the house/office and don’t remember if you turned it off, as long as you have Wi-Fi enabled you can turn it off from anywhere with the app.Works perfectly for what I needed!I bought it in Feb 2022 and it’s now Feb 2023 and it’s working great!

This heater is awesome. I love that I can set it to heat up my room before I get home from the app or even schedule it to turn off or on at a certain time. With the Govee hydrometer it is even better since you can set a desired temperature and it will regulate it all night.Really awesome heater and worth the money to get the hydrometer but it still works great without it.My heater suddenly stopped working one night and I was so sad because was really great. So I emailed support and they responded right away and sent me a BRAND NEW ONE! Awesome customer service!!!

Connecting the heater to my phone was super easy and straightforward; the heater isn’t big but is effective (heats up my bedroom in less than 15 minutes on high)
