I used a couple of these to lift some heavy items. Seem to be of good quality.

So I have an old Infiniti QX56 and it has a third row set that folds down, and I wanted to use it to transport a motor to a machine shop but there was no good way to secure it. These eye bolts fit the seat belt mounts on both sides of the seat perfectly, and the seat belt mounts are very strong for obvious reasons. I unbolted the seat belts and screwed these in. I was able to place a tarp down in the back, a pallet on top of that, and the motor on top of that. I was then able to secure the motor to the pallet with ratchet straps, and the motor and pallet to these eye bolts with a series of chains and ratchet straps as well. The motor didn't go anywhere, but it was still a bit nerve racking in stop and go traffic worrying the motor was going to break free and tumble forward. It was a short distance though and it was extremely well secured so no issues. The threads on these eye bolts should fit most seat belt bolt holes, but check your threads first of course. I would have no problem using this system again transporting heavy stuff that I could get to lay flatter than a motor, like a transmission or even just a pallet of stuff, for even longer distances. I probably wouldn't attempt transporting a motor for anything further than across town though.

I needed to set a point of attachment for a snatch block in the ceiling of my shop. It's red iron and z purling construction with sheet metal siding. I drilled a 1/2" hole in a 1/4" thick by three foot long piece of angle iron to give the purling more strength, I then set that angle iron in the channel of the purling and drilled a matching hole in the purling. Threaded the bolt through with a couple of washers and a a couple of nuts (to make a jam-nut) Then I used it to lift a 500 gallon empty propane tank. The tank weighs more than I can budge by myself and with my son we could scoot it across the concrete with much difficulty. This cast eye-bolt did the job perfectly without a hitch (except the one I tied on the truck to lift it). I will use these in the future for anchor and attachment points in the shop and on jobs.

I work with expensive camera equipment on movies and TV shows. Sometimes when we are doing stunts or specialized rigs there is a need to attach a safety cable to the camera in case something breaks or the camera gets loose. Safety is always considered in everything we do. A 3/8” threaded eye bolt is exactly what we use for that purpose, and the one offered here is a very good one. It is nice to know that the eye bolt is actually rated for a Safe Working Load of 1300 lbs - that is very important. The seller also reports the item is made by an ISO 9001 registered manufacturer out of 1035 Carbon Steel, and tested to ASTM A489 Forged Lifting Eye Bolts Specification. It is sometimes difficult to know the actual safety ratings and certifications when buying things like this, so this listing is a useful one. Stay safe out there!
