Consumed by Deception: A Dark Marriage Romance (Deception Trilogy, Book 3)

the best conclusion to this trilogy
Final thoughts for this trilogy… please stop reading now if you haven’t read books 1&2..The last book of this trilogy lifts the veil on Adrian’s childhood and why he is the way he is. I loved getting to understand him better, it made his motives and strategies make more sense. In the beginning of this trilogy, Adrian was one of those MMCs you love to hate, but I just knew by the end of this trilogy that his redemption would be stellar and in my eyes it was. His way of bringing her back was unconventional at best and even though he was absolutely ruthless and cold about what he wanted and how he went about it.. he still showed his dedication and devotion to Lia, perhaps even in a romantic way for a man so closed off. Lia was so strong, and even when she was at her lowest of lows she fought. She had a very long and hard road to endure but she finally found her way to healing and the most important part is that it was her choosing her own path. There is freedom in admitting what you want and her choosing him was everything..Bottomline, their story was so beautiful and full of every emotion you can think of and this trilogy was top notch in my book.

Great booked, hated MCs
Great book, amazing plot and smut, and well written. However I cannot stand either of the MCs. Both are seem to have their stuck up their asses, and are very vengeful. I found neither had many redeeming qualities.Smut 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️Plot ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Characters 🗣️🗣️🗣️Writing Style ✏️✏️✏️✏️

Good Ending ♥️
Obsessed. That’s what I am now after finishing this series. There was a lot of up and downs, and it definitely felt like a roller coaster with the amount of things that happened from the first book to this one but seeing them finally content and happy at the end made all those frustrations and questions worth it.This series isn’t really for anybody—especially if you’re faint hearted. There were lots of dark concepts that might turn off some people but I like that it fits the theme of the genre. I’m open to reading anything to be honest, and while I normally don’t read dark romance, I do find myself liking them so this series was perfect for me.Lia and Adrian’s relationship came a long way and I’m happy they finally found happiness with each other. There were certainly a lot of downs more than ups for them but they persevered and made it through the end together. It was interesting to see their relationship grow cause they started off in the wrong foot.I love the development that happened with the two of them. Adrian will always be the mobster that he is, but he’s grown from the untrusting and “everything needs to go my way” man from book 1 to a softened version instead. ONLY FOR LIA though. Our man will always be the who he is, and he’s not planning on changing that. The man is still the same outside of his family, but I like that he finally let go and allowed Lia inside and learned to trust that Lia isn’t gonna leave him and that he doesn’t need to control everything about her 24/7.Lia while still the kinder and softer of the two has definitely grown from how she was before. Her time was Wynter changed her for the better and it showed in how her behaviour changed. She’s come a long way from the timid and nightmare-ridden person she was at the beginning to this bright strong woman who’ll fight for her family and her relationship no matter what happens. She learned how move on and heal from her trauma, and I couldn’t be anymore proud and happy for her. If there is someone who deserves happiness and peace—it’s her ♥️

FIVE VILLAIN STARS! ⭐️
“I trusted you, Lia, even more than I trusted myself. You were the light I wasn’t allowed to have and I did everything I could to protect it and not let it burn out. You were the only purity I saw in the world and I did my hardest not to tarnish it”The last book of the Deception Trilogy and it was so perfect! The best conclusion Lia & Adrian could’ve had, my heart felt so complete and happy by the end of the book. This trilogy it’s a must read!Consumed by Deception is the third and final book of Lia & Adrian’s story. The book starts after the ending of the the second book (Tempted by Deception) and we finally find out what happened to Lia at the cliff and it explains how we got to the first book (Vow of Deception). In this book we finally get the answers we’ve been looking for! The majority of the book focuses on the unfolding events after Lia discovers the truth and gains her memory back. In this book there is more communication between Lia & Adrian which I was so happy about because miscommunication was a big problem in the last two books. Lia & Adrian have a stronger relationship but there is still many odds against them and lies that keep preventing their full on happiness. Lia & Adrian must fight to overcome the odds against them and once they do it was beautiful to see how their relationship become stronger and they finally got the HAE that they both deserved.Lia & Adrian:Once Lia discovers the truth, she comes back to life stronger and more determined than ever to protect her family—Adrian & Jeremy. I loved seeing this side of Lia; her growth throughout the trilogy was amazing to read. Adrian was everything in this book that I can described in words how much I loved him. Adrian is a beautiful villain who loves and protects Lia & Jeremy no matter the cost. I loved Adrian & Lia so much that this book felt bittersweet as their story came to an end. I hope that we get to see them in future books.PS. I love Jeremy so much that I’m hoping he gets a book! I would wait years as long as my baby boy Jeremy gets a book. Pls & thank you Rina! And the side characters in this book were so fascination to read about & the epilogue was everything.

5 Brilliant Stars for Adrian & his Lenochka⭐️♥️
This trilogy was addicting, maddening & absolutely perfect.I’m not ready to let them go but I desperately craved to read their story to truly appreciate their parts in the LOG series.Of all parents mentioned, this couple drew my attention the most.Adrian & Lia started with blood & death, from that something beautiful forged in its place. In the end, they are perfect for one another❤️🔥Adrian, is unyielding & unforgiving but for his Lenochka, he will try, try to be worthy of her. He does love her, it’s not soft nor is it delicate. It’s suffocating, possessive & obsessive, he’ll cut through anything in his path just to protect her.His love is villainous & selfish, he has no boundaries. She is the light to his darkness, the lone rose he would pluck over & over again🖤🌹- “I love you Mrs. Volkov.”- “And I’ll spend the rest of my life showing her exactly how deep and raw that love is.”Lia, thought she could love enough for the both of them but that is what brought her to the edge of the cliff. Eventually she stopped fighting her feelings and gave in to her villain completely & embraced him fully. Lia didn’t back down or cower away anymore, she spoke her mind regardless of he delicious punishments. She really grew into herself in this instalment.- “I love you, Adrian, and though it hurts sometimes, I’ve never regretted it.”❤️🩹This trilogy offered so much that my mind is reeling; so much suspense, hurt, betrayal but also the love, the lightness and wholesome moments.Any scene with Jeremy had my heart melting for little Malysh🥹- I’m so glad he got his own story in the LOG series❤️🔥“We ride together and die together, woman.” 😂- Yan is really the friend she needed and deserved through it allThis was the perfect ending for Adrian & Lia, they went trough so much & came out on top, no matter how toxic it may seem🖤

What a shame!!
Absolutely, what a shame.....that it ever had to end!! I loved reading the relationship between Adrian and Lia and really wish there were more books about them!!It was great watching as the relationship between Adrian and Lia grew. The fact that Adrian's darker side could bring out Lia's slightly less darker side, in the bedroom. And how Lia's light finally brought Adrian back from being so closed off and realising that he could still have love as well as five it out!!It really was a kind of pleasure reading these books in a sense, to be able to escape the real world and read something that, how ever much not a fairy tale and ride off in the sunset love, was still at its very core a far more real love. They didn't pretend to be anything other than what they were, eventually. And that's all that mattered!!A brilliant story and told in such a way that you could almost believe that it was real for a short while. My only complaint was the fact that it finally came to an end!! Oh how I wish more could have happened, in fact there could have been, but this was the end that was chosen and it was fantastic regardless....I'm just greedy and wish there had been more lol!!So daft question is....do I recommend. The answer being....what do you think?? Of course I do!! Rina's best books since reading RES, probably even better 🙈🙈
