Life Of The Wild: A Whimsical Adult Coloring Book: Stress Relieving Animal Designs

I purchased three of Karen's adult coloring books; "Life Of The Wild," "Flora and Fauna," and "Mandala Daydream." All three were amazing. These are great coloring books if you like to have more whimsical and detailed art to color. Everything made by Karen is hand-drawn and they're all really cool. I love the blend of the different types of nature altogether. These were a gift for a friend who loves adult coloring books and they were a big hit! I will also note that the quality of the paper and covers is great and doesn't feel cheap like some coloring books. Very worth the buy!

I used to just buy coloring books without really looking at them. That was until now! Ever since we have purchased this coloring book we see the difference. It is so beautiful, so clear and so much space to be able to color. The illustrations are so amazing you want to just color and then frame them. We will continue to purchase every book she comes out with and I hope everyone loves coloring because this will be their Christmas gift this year! If you are looking for a new way to relax, grab this coloring book!

First let me preface by saying I DO BELIEVE the AUTHOR IS VERY TALENTED Sounds like shes just new in the land of coloring books. I DID ENJOY and admire certain pages so much so that I would purchase another of her books and just cross my fingers that the majority of the pages are somewhat related.With coloring books, WE SHOULD BE ABLE TO JUDGE THE BOOK BY THE COVER , most pages didn't fit the "feel" of the beautiful cover and were of totally different subjects and even different styles. Almost anything like the cover style would be great, whether big small fairies whimsy, BUT the coloring book had too many DIFFERENT GENRES for me. This book was too disjointed and had too many pics of SUBJECT matters I simply don't like.Of course if an author wants to combine a lot of subjects, that's totally fine but add a lot of pages AND indicate ON THE COVER or at least somewhere on COLORING BOOK that it's totally random!The author asked for feedback and my reply was going to be, "do what you like or love but don't combine so much different stuff that hits opposite spectrums of interests and only use your best pics".

Karen Sue Chen is a very creative illustrator. She provides original pictures that allow adult colorists a healthy break from the multitude of mandalas that tend to look so much alike. In some cases, even the placement of illustrations on the page provides entertaining effects. Karen leaves plenty of room for the adult colorist to add to the overall creativity of each piece of finished art.

Some pages have much more detail than others, you can use several mediums on the pages, art is super cute and original! highly recommend any of her coloring books

Cute illustrations, just not what I was looking for sadly. I am most disappointed by the quality of the paper in this book, feels like printer paper or paper that is used in a children's coloring book. It is very cute though, and for that I rate it a 3/5. I don't think I will get much use out of this one unfortunately.

Lots of super cute drawings! Can’t wait to start coloring in it! Just waiting on my coloring pencils to come in!

Used for detresing and helps with my aunts rheumatism in her fingers and wrists an awesome buy for colouring enthusiasts

Genuinley shocked at the poor quality
