Comfortable with minor issue.
Over all, a good solid, comfortable glove. Maybe a little warm for this time of year, but in the job I'm in good hand protections is required. As gloves are on and off frequently throughout the day, I've set them up so easy to pull on and off without having to mess with the velcro. The only sticking point, is that around the cuff on both gloves, a little bit of the stitching has come off that holds the leather down. It's not flapping about, and not got worse. Just not something I expected from a port west product. If I could have it would have been a 4.5, rather than a 4.Edit: I have just ordered a new pair, as in being a bit naive, I used my hand as a base to cut things on with a knife, which showed the rubber palm was not cut resistant, so, that has been coming apart, letting water in when trying to handle wet chains making the gloves uncomfortable, and dirt getting in through the fabric.

Work gloves
I haven't used in the field yet but as soon as I put them on I could feel that they are very durable have to see how long they last in manual work situations and manual handling

They’re ok for lighter work
Bought these on the 5th August and just under one month later they’ve developed holes on the fingers and are coming apart in all places. In fairness to the gloves I work in highway maintenance and deal with concrete, slabs and tarmac a lot, so this has no doubt caused an earlier demise for them.Fit is a little on the tight side but loosens up over time. The ‘armoured’ parts do their job well enough. One thing to note is that they are pretty rough on the inside as has been mentioned in other reviews and are initially very uncomfortable - but again - this settles with time and use.Overall - they’re ok for light/clean work but wouldn’t recommend them for anything heavy duty

Excellent
Excellent. Hubby broke his hand and was looking for something to protect the top of the hand whilst supporting it. These are perfect as have the extra rubber/padding on the top. Great fit and after wearing them all day everyday for weeks they haven’t budged.

Well made, great price.
These gloves are great for the price. The large is size 9. They are very well made, I did find that to make them more comfortable to wear a thin cheap pair (£1) of gardening gloves from my local supermarket, then put these gloves on. They act as an inner lining type of thing & made the gloves more comfortable, as by the nature of the gloves they're not that soft on the inside. If you decide to do this you may want to go the next size up, but they fitted ok for me.EDIT5 months of hard - 5 days a week per month, and still going well. Some of the black grip has worn off, but the main cut resistant material (reason for buying) has not worn through. Very happy.
