Recommended/Passed The Test (KINDLE)
Passed the official exam with a score of 742 using this as my only study guide. I would query the internet for definitions and other concepts as added support, but this guide was primarily my foundation. All in all, great book and author. I recommend the purchase.

Big Kid's Book Size, but worth the read!
This book has all the information you need to study to pass the N10-008 exam. I had passed the A+ exam by hardly reading my book because it was so dry, but Todd's energy comes through in the text of this book and can keep my attention. I almost didn't read the book until my studies went over the topic of subnetting. No matter how many videos I watched, I couldn't understand this topic, but once I read through Chapter 8 of this book, I finally got it down. Now I'm a subnetting savant! đI passed my exam on the first attempt at 5:30 in the morning, thanks to this book! Don't be alarmed by the size of the book either; there are big chunks that are basically repeated, so I would simply skip over what you know if you're averse to reading lol.

Not the best book for studying.
Poorly written book overall. Multiple questions in the practice exams have wrong answers or multiple answers for one question. Some topics arenât explained fully or well. Acronyms are sometimes not defined. The progression of the chapters donât make sense, jumping around without a whole lot of sense. Topics or certain subjects are talked about before they are fully explained later in the chapter so it can get confusing when reading about a certain part of the subject before it is fully explained. Multiple times the book will start talking about a subject but then suddenly say âwe will cover the rest of this topic in chapter âwhateverââ which can leave holes in the logic of what youâre studying. Overall everything you need to know is covered, but in the end Iâm not a fan of this book and how it is written, and would suggest finding another.
