These fueled me through my first full marathon. There's more "kick" in these than the regular GU, more so that I didn't hit the wall until 25.5 miles into a full marathon. The taste is great and it goes down easy, nowhere as thick as the gels from Clif. Four of these were enough to get me through a full marathon. No upset stomach and it washes down clean with a sip of water/lytes/etc.

Love these out on a 100 mile bike ride. Literally, you can feel them hitting the blood stream, getting you over the hump. Great taste, no stomach issues. A little pricey, but these are my go-to secret weapon.

It's the only one I have used, but it kept me going through an Olympic distance triathlon, so I am very happy. I took one about 15 mins before the swim and I had two while on the bike and one on the run. They are easy to open and get down. I never felt that draining feeling that you get when you are just running low on calories and I felt great in the hours and days after the race. Taste and texture are just ok, but I don't ding it for that because that's not the point.

Almost an unfair advantage. I run a number of half marathons every year and I have recently started downing one packet of this GU around mile 8. By mile 10 it usually kicks in and really lifts the end of my race. I've also used several of these during a marathon with similar results. It tastes good, not too thick and I don't get queasy as I do with other gel product.

The GU Roctane is a great product. Just started getting serious with running. It definitely gives you the kick for the short runs and the boost at the 8 mile mark. Pop one every 45 minutes and the fatigue disappears. The vanilla orange flavor works. Re-ordering another box today!!

This stuff keeps me going nice and steadily on a long hike. The extra aminos in Roctane over the regular Gu seem to give me more energy. I have tried two flavors so far, Blueberry Pomegranate and Orange Vanilla. Like Blueberry very much. Don't like Orange at all. Don't forget to drink water after eating one.

Great gel, but this vanilla orange tastes awful. I’ve had several other GU gels, some are really good taste, some are ok. This vanilla orange is def the worst I had

Bon goût et texture. Facile à assimiler

I bought this to train for my half marathon and use on running day. The consistency and texture is pretty thick, like molasses out of the fridge. The taste isn't bad though. I would say it actually tastes more like a Cadbury Crunchie chocolate bar than vanilla and orange.

The box arrived damaged with visible signes of wear, broken seal, sun exposure and expiration date in 3 months. It looks like the product was manufactured years ago.
